The design of this 8.5-inch chef knife follows the classic 'Phillips Forged' style, which I absolutely adore creating. The blade geometry and design make it easy to cut through food with laser-like precision, perfect for both push and pull cuts. There are 183 layers of Damascus steel made from 15N20 and 1084 Carbon Steel. I paired it with a faceted handle because I've never used this technique before and I think it looks great. The handle is made of black maple, synthetic horn, and a brass spacer.
